Day 1-5: Cape Town, Cape Cadogan

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the Cape Cadogan, a beautifully decorated boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Trendy Kloof Street is just footsteps away with its bars, restaurants and bohemian atmosphere while Table Mountain and the beautiful beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are just a short drive away.

You have a few days at leisure to savour the sights and sounds of South Africa's most celebrated city. Included in your itinerary is a full day guided tour of Cape Town, and there are many more things to do, such as visit the Cape Winelands, climb Table Mountain, relax on the breathtaking beaches and visit the infamous Robben Island.

Day 5-8: Lion Sands Private Game Reserve, Kruger National Park

After a magical time in the Mother City, you will head to the airport for your direct flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. You will be met and transferred to the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, a concession adjacent to the Kruger National Park. You will be staying at the four-star Lion Sands River Lodge, a private and exclusive retreat on the banks of the teeming Sabie River. The 18 luxurious, thatched bedrooms all have an en-suite bathroom, outdoor and inside shower and a wooden viewing deck overlooking the river.

Staying in the Sabi Sands ensures a more private and privileged experience than in the Kruger Park itself. Rangers need not abide by park rules and can go off-road to get closer to animals, lead you on bush walks tracking Africa's wild beasts and there are night drives, sleep-outs and dinners in the bush. When you are not spotting the Big Five, you can spend your days relaxing at the lodge, lazing by the pool, spoiling yourself with a Spa treatment and feasting on gourmet African cuisine. Day 8-14: Benguerra Lodge, Mozambique

After one final game drive, you will be transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your flight to Vilanculos on the Mozambican coast. You will clear customs and then hop a charter flight to the idyllic Benguerra Island in the world-renowned Bazaruto Archipelago. Think white sand beaches and crystal clear waters, pristine coral reefs and swaying palm trees forming a backdrop to the ideal island escape!

You will be staying at the exquisite Benguerra Lodge on the protected north-western side of the island. It exudes an East African-cum-Arabic decor in line with the ancient tradition of the Bazaruto Archipelago. There are eleven chalets, no more than 20 meters from the beach and each with a veranda looking out onto the azure Indian Ocean. We really can think of no better place to be!

Day 14: Departure

After an unforgettable adventure, you will be transferred back to Vilanculos for your flight to Johannesburg.
