Day 1-5: Cape Town, Cape Cadogan

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the Cape Cadogan, a beautifully decorated boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Trendy Kloof Street is just footsteps away with its bars, restaurants and bohemian atmosphere while Table Mountain and the beautiful beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are just a short drive away.

You have a few days at leisure to savour the sights and sounds of South Africa's most celebrated city. Included in your itinerary is a full day guided tour of Cape Town, and there are many more things to do, such as visit the Cape Winelands, climb Table Mountain, relax on the breathtaking beaches and visit the infamous Robben Island.

Day 5-8: Lion Sands Private Game Reserve, Kruger National Park

This tour can begin in either Johannesburg or Cape Town. Whatever the case, you will head to the airport for your direct flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. You will be met and transferred to the Lion Sands Private Game Reserve within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, a concession adjacent to the Kruger National Park. You will be staying at the five-star Lion Sands Ivory Lodge, a haven of exclusivity, sensitivity and complete privacy. It exudes African Euro elegance while the natural simplicity of the bush is maintained in a harmonious and stylish manner. The entrance area is separate from the main lodge in order to ensure that guests arriving and departing have no impact on other guests.

Staying in the Sabi Sands ensures a more private and privileged experience than in the Kruger Park itself. Rangers need not abide by park rules and can go off-road to get closer to animals, lead you on bush walks tracking Africa's wild beasts and there are night drives, sleep-outs and dinners in the bush. When you are not spotting the Big Five, you can spend your days relaxing at the lodge, lazing by the pool, spoiling yourself with a Spa treatment and feasting on gourmet African cuisine. Lion Sands has been family owned and managed since 1933, thus offering you an exclusive and personalised African Safari!

Day 8-10: Nitani Private Game Reserve, Botswana

You will catch a private charter flight out of the Sabi Sand Reserve and across the border into Botswana. You will be met and transferred to Nitani Private Game Reserve which borders South Africa and Zimbabwe in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve. You will be staying at Nitani Lodge with its five raised suites on the banks of the Majali River. The camp caters for a maximum of 10 guests ensuring an exclusive experience for you and your loved ones.

Relax on your verandah as elephants browse through the undergrowth and savour the endless views of the untamed wilderness. Enjoy game drives and bush walks, getting up close and personal with elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe and eland as well as common plains game and over 350 bird species. Enjoy a stargazing session beneath the African sky, a dinner in the heart of the bush and a relaxed treatment at the Wellness Centre before falling asleep to the wild sounds of the night.

Day 10: Departure

After all the excitement and adventure, you will be transferred from Nitani Private Game Reserve to the airstrip for your charter flight back to Johannesburg.
